The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is part of the Arab League. The AASTMT has been established since 1972 to provide numerous educational services to the people of the Arab World, ranging from middle school programmes to university courses.
In 1990 the AASTMT introduced the IGCSE/GCE Programmes. In 2006 the American Diploma began and in 2008 the Pre-IGCSE was started.
