Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR) was established according to the provisions of the Capital Market law # 95 of 1992 and within the framework of the programs adopted by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) for developing the capital market mechanisms and applying the central depository system. This is done based on the French expertise of Paris stock Exchange and SICOVAM; a world leader in the application of the central depository system (For more details about MCDR please visit its website).

In College of Management and Technology, Cairo – Heliopolis, A number of 10 students from the Finance and Accounting program have been chosen to join the on job training on a 5 group bases as 2 students in each group. The training period started from 3/7/2011 to 19/9/2011. Each group attended lectures for 2 weeks in the company's training department and 1 week in the headquarter to apply what they learn and finally they are required to conduct a final on training project.

Students involved in the MCDR training program are now aware of the Egyptian capital market in a deeper professional level more than before, and they have a more clear understanding of the related courses they are studying currently. The trainees students obtained a practical experience of the Egyptian stock exchange market mechanism and how it works, leading to a potential advantage in participating in it.

At the end of the training, they were asked individually to do a project concernig what they learned. We are proudly publishing the best chosen project for the student Mina Magdy Akhnoukh .
