UWIC Program Midterm Exams for First Semester 2011-2012

 

Instructions

  1. Students who have clashes in exams time (i.e having two or more exams in the same date and time) must report to Mr. Ahmed Yehia or Mr. Ali Allam at room B208 for rescheduling them.

  2. Students who are not registered in the names lists of the exams rooms or having any special cases must report to Mr. Mohamed Hisham or Mr. Ahmed Samir at room B105 to get a written permission to perform the exam.

  3. Students are not allowed to enter the exam room without their student ID.

  4. Students' names (no signatures) must be written clearly in the attendance sheet along with their student ID.

  5. Full names must be clearly written on both the answer and the questions sheets and both should be submitted. In case of using more than one answer sheet, students are required to write their full information on both sheets, the answer sheets should be numbered 1/2, 2/2 and staple them together.

  6. Advanced electronic devices (including Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's), Financial Calculators, Laptops, and the like) are not allowed without prior permission by the lecturer.

  7. Mobile phones must be switched off (not be set silent) and in case of using mobile phones inside the exam room, it will be considered a cheating case.

  8. Students are forbidden to pass calculators or any other tools to one another during the exam.

  9. Students are not allowed to enter after 45 minutes from the exam start time and they are not permitted to leave the exam room before half the time. Students who arrive late to the exam won't be granted extra time.

  10. In case of any violation of the academy rules including any form of cheating or misbehavior, the college has the right to apply the appropriate punishment.

Violations and Punishments

Student's Violation The Punishment
Prejudice of order and discipline in the exam room. Cancellation of the student exam in which the incident occurred with considering him failing the exam course.
Refusal to obey the instructions during the exam. Exclusion of the student from the exam room with warning of dismissal from college.
Cheating attempt in the exam. Cancellation of the student exam in which the incident occurred, with considering him failing the exam course and the next exams courses.

Cheating in the exam as follows:

  • Talking or attempting to provide assistant to a colleague.
  • Exchanging answer sheets or questions sheets with a colleague.
  • Using unauthorized notes.
  • Attempting to get an answer from a colleague.
  • Writing on the exam desk or any other tools.
  • Using any other illegal means.
Cancellation of all student's exams with considering him failing all the courses registered in the semester in which the incident occurred.
Actual or verbal infringement on the exam observer or the exam supervisory committee. Cancellation of all student's exams with considering him failing all the courses registered in the semester in which the incident occurred, in addition to suspending his registration in the next semester.
Impersonate another student to perform the exam. The final dismissal from the Academy.
