Our Mission
Our remit in the International Educational Programs at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is to form a tri-partite relationship between the school, the students and their families, and the wider community. Working together, we strive to develop confident learners, committed to the collective good in society, able to find creative solutions through original thought and effective communication regardless of the challenges that may be posed.

Our Beliefs
The education we provide aims to prepare our learners for a global society. We believe its members should be developed as:

• Confident individuals, proud of their Arab heritage, able to adapt and reflect, and make autonomous decisions when appropriate;
• Team players; able to collaborate and identify mutually agreeable solutions to challenges.

Through our interrelated, learner-centered activities, we seek to develop emotional as well as subject intelligence, in order to encourage:

• Honesty and integrity in all our interactions;
• Empathy, self-knowledge, and tolerance;
• A lifelong love of learning, truth and discipline.

Whilst endeavoring to set the highest standards, and provide the best educational resources, both material and human, we believe that education is not the sole domain of schools, but must be encouraged through:

• Student involvement and recognition of responsibilities;
• Excellent school-home relations, as well as links with the wider community.
