The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is part of the Arab League. The AASTMT has been established since 1972 providing numerous educational services to the people of the Arab World, ranging from middle / high school programs to undergrad / postgrad certificates.

In 1990 the AASTMT introduced the British Programme (IGCSE/GCE) followed by the Pre-IGCSE in 2008.

In 2006 the AASTMT introduced the American Diploma Program.
